Manchester Street Photography Course
Our Manchester Street Photography Course is informal and fun and is for photographers with a bit of experience using their cameras who want to develop their technique and spot details and shapes that make for interesting photographs.
It’s also good for learning to overcome a bit of shyness at stopping in the street to take a shot, or even asking strangers if they don’t mind having their photo taken.
We use the city’s buildings and vehicles and people for inspiration on the day, so we move quite quickly from place to place.
We will meet at the entrance to the John Rylands Library on Deansgate and then head off with our route governed by the weather and what the group would like to concentrate on – heritage, gritty urban subjects, architecture. Who knows!
You don’t need an expensive camera, just as long as it has some ability to adjust the image for shutter speed, focal length etc. It’s all about building your confidence in what you have, not what you can afford.
